Cars of a Billionaire | Tiriac Collection
Recently, the Romanian Billionaire Ion Tiriac opened to the public his former private collection of exquisite automobiles.
You can now visit this amazing gallery of some of the greatest motor vehicles. So, we decided to give you guys a glimpse at what the cars of a billionaire look like.
For those of you who don’t know him, Ion Tiriac (Net Worth $1.1 BL) is a former professional tennis and hokey player that made it in the International Tennis Hall of Fame. His massive success comes from companies in banking, real estate, insurance, auto leasing and retail.
Tiriac Collection is the first Romanian private gallery to be opened to the public. You’ll find the gallery in Otopeni City, Romania, very close to the capital city Bucharest. It includes over 60 pieces combining cars and motorcycles from different time frames, the oldest being one piece from 1899.
In a recent interview the billionaire said:
Because I have a passion for cars I started collecting pieces as old as 1899. I have the pleasure to share this passion with the visitors of the gallery. A part of the evolution of the automobile industry is part of this collection which I invite you to discover!
Over time, the gallery will grow to showcase more than 250 pieces from his personal collection. At this point you can find over 30 brands of cars and motorcycles such as Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, Cadillac, Ford, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Harley Davidson and Indian Scout.
The most impressive part of the gallery is no other the fact that it is the only private collection in the world that features all the Rolls-Royce Phantoms made before 1972.
With that said, who wants to see some cars?

Although this is just a fraction of what awaits you in the gallery, I bet it is enough to get you car juices flowing and make you wanna visit it.
As some of you know, I have a soft spot for old Rolls-Royce’s and I look forward to see how this private gallery compares to the Ferdinand Porsche expo here in Brussels that I got to visit last week!
I hope you enjoyed this peek into this cars of a billionaire world and get the chance to experiment it live!
